Our Housing Task Force pilot project is wrapping up! However,continued shared learning is our goal and we are happy to be continuing our housing meetings into this new year. Stay involved with us as we push forward with new ideas and strategies around creative options for home.
What We Have Come to Understand So Far
As the families prepared for our Housing Forum this past June, they worked diligently to summarize some of their learning over the past two years. They have had many meetings and principled conversations. The housing group has put forth 10 elements which they believe are essential when imagining and creating home for a loved one with a disability.
